Requesting a new website?
If you're requesting a new Site Builder website, use the new site request form instead.
All sites must get approval to launch
To support a consistent, accessible experience across IU websites, all new Site Builder sites require approval before launch. The review process helps confirm your site is complete, error-free, and ready for a public audience.
Before you launch
When your Site Builder site is first created, publishing is limited to the SiteKube test server.
This allows you to build, review, and refine your content before it becomes publicly available.
- The test site is intended for internal review and feedback
- It should not be used for public promotion
- You can safely share it with collaborators during development
Request launch approval
When you're done building your site and are ready to publish it, you'll need to submit a launch request form.
Administrators will review your site to ensure it's free of errors and meets accessibility standards.
After approval
After your site is approved:
- You can publish to the SiteKube live (production) server
- Your site becomes publicly accessible
- You can continue to make updates and publish changes as needed
You only need to request approval once
Launch approval is only required for your site's initial publication. After your site is approved, you can publish updates at any time without submitting another request.
