Page Settings

Configure settings for an individual page

Looking for site-wide settings?

Settings that apply to every page on your site can be found in the Configure Your Site section.

Overview

In Site Builder, the Edit screen of each page includes a Page Settings section.

These options let you control extra details about an individual page beyond the main content, including:

  • Setting the page's visibility in navigation, search engines, or automatic card grids
  • Adding links to related content at the bottom of the page
  • Showing contact information cards for your department or team
  • Adding page-specific CSS and JavaScript

Most fields in this section are optional, but they give you extra flexibility when you need to adjust how your page looks and behaves.

Some of the advanced fields in this section are intended for use by those familiar with web development. If you need help, submit a support request.

Publishing required
You'll need to republish a page each time you make changes to its settings.

Do

  • Use to set the image that's shown when a page is shared on social media
  • Use related links guide visitors to helpful next steps or related topics
  • Use contact cards to help visitors know who to reach out to
  • Use to attach CSS and JavaScript files needed by a custom content component on a page
  • Use to add custom metadata fields to a page to help with SEO, analytics, or other advanced configuration

Don't

  • Use to apply purely aesthetic customizations to a page
  • Add several CSS or JavaScript files to a page—this can slow down load times or cause errors
  • Use both images and stickers in a single card grid—choose one or the other
  • Use related links to direct visitors back to the section index page or your site's home page—these links are already in the breadcrumb navigation
